I want to increase power within my abs and not tone, along side of a 3-day workout program How often should I work my abs and does anybody have a good ab routine that I can follow to improve size as well as that nice powerful ab look?

Here's how I would rank the exercises I've actually used for abs:
1. Weighted decline crunches
2. weighted crunches (flat bench)
3. weighted knee raises or leg lifts
4. sprints (60 - 100 yards)
5. weighted situps
All of these can be good exercises if done properly. Use heavy weight, but not too heavy to do a full rep. 2 sets of 8 - 12 of 2 different exercises. Abs are mostly slow-twitch muscles so do slow, full reps.
