fixing an ipod

im about to buy this ipod for $80 canadian

thing is, for that price, i could get a new screan and still save some money. If i just left the screan like that, over time will it fcuk up on me?

How much can you save over buying a new one?
Usually to get anything apple fixed, you have to send it directly to apple.
I doubt you have a warranty for that crack, so they will probably tell you to buy a new one.
When they first came out, Apple didn't even make replacement batteries for them. So when the battery ran out, they told consumers to buy a new Ipod. Well people freaked and since then a replacement battery has been developed.
Apple is stingy.
