    Deadlift form

    i have seen many people doing there dead lifts with there hand gripping in opposite directions. is that how it supposed to be done. i do where my knucles are facing away. should i change this?

    Either way is fine. I use a mixed grip. One hand in, one hand out, and rotate between sets.

    It helps with grip at higher weights. If your grip is giving you problems, and your back is still ready to pull, then switch it over. For me, I like to switch it at the heaviest, but keep it regular on my higher rep sets.

    Say I was doing a deadlift workout..

    135 x 8
    205 x 8
    225 x 6
    255 x 3
    then i switch to mixed grip
    275 x 3
    300 x 3

    ok thnx ill look into mixed grip at higher weights. i was just thining it was part of correct technique or something and i didnt want to be wrong.
