Light Headed Sensation After Leg Routine

my leg work out consists of leg press, occasional squats, leg curls, etc. etc.
    u know the basic.

everytime im done with the leg routine or even in the middle of it i get really light headed because the blood rushes to the bottom portion of the body when working out the legs.
not only that i always feel a bit dizzy and if i look in the mirror i look a bit blood drained in the face lol, is this normal?
i mean it subsides after an hour or two but still
    has anyone else experienced this?

It's just that your blood and oxygen are being diverted elsewhere.

So long as you don't pass out with 300lbs on your shoulders, you'll be fine!

Wait Wait Wait....You feel light headed after EVERY leg routine?
    Something isn't right about that.

Try standing on your head inbetween sets. Or you could try eating more?

I really dont think eating more has anything to do with this....well, not unless youre eating like 500 cals a day and no water or something

It has everything to do with it if that's what is causing the light-headedness.

If his Pre W/O nutrition isn't lights out on leg day, then yea sure he might get light headed or if he tries to lift during a crash and just didn't realize it.
Don't get all hopped up on shocktart candy an hour before you go lift...

Personally I think that feeling comes from poor nutrition or lack of sleep more so than the blood rushing to your legs during a leg workout...
But that is just My opinion

Yeah, I get the "birdies and stars" thing after intense sets of deadlift and squat.

Should note though that it is only momentary and I am careful to breathe properly during the sets.

Try taking deep breaths in between sets, and be sure you're breathing correctly during your lifts.

It happens to me occasionally, but never lasts that long. I just make sure not to get up too rapidly from the leg press machine......
