What's the ideal ratio for these lifts at 1RM?
Bench Press : Squats
Bench Press : Standing Military Presses
Bench Press : Deadlifts
Standing Military Presses : Barbell Curls
Upright Rows : Bent-Over Rows
Standing Military Presses : Upright Rows
And what's your personal ratio?
There is none. Everyone is different!

yes, as there is no perfect body, but something that go as close to that as possible... and that is ideal... i'm not looking forward to get something precise, just i'd like to know what's the ratio for these lifts among people with good bodies
Jay,
I am assuming you are asking what are reasonable ranges for those ratios, to ensure proper balance among major muscle groups (legs, chest and back). I'm not sure what those are ratios are, but there is a proper range to ensure proper balance b/w antagonistic muscle movement patterns (ie vertical pull/push, hor pull/push, etc.)
what i'm asking is what would a balanced body lift in those exercises... more or less...
bp:sq:dl
very respectable - 1.5*weight : 2.0 * weight : 2.0 * weight
elite - 2.0 * weight : 3.0 * weight : 3.0 * weight
bests:
bp 335x1 (unequipped), sq 430x5 belt, dl 475x1 sumo (unequipped)

dw, the only thing I disagree w/ is that IMO, the deads numbers should be > than squats numbers.Originally Posted by dw06wu

Maybe a little. I didn't mean that they had to be exact. This would be in fantasy land.Originally Posted by Pats Fan

3/4/5. 300 bench, 400 squat, 500 DL and you're set.
D 435 / S 340 / B 305

Look in the mirror! That's all you need. If you think you are well proportioned, it won't matter wheter your bench-to-squat ratio sucks or is great. If you think your legs look skinny compared to your back or chest, work those legs more! If you have Herculean thighs but tiny biceps, do more rows or chins.
man, how people over-quantify things!![]()

it's just out of interest... tell me your ratios, if you don't know the ideal ones
