I was wondering how long it would take for this thread to open up. I don't support the death penalty, but he did murder a family. If someone was worthy of the punishment, I'd say he would be up there.

Funny how Jesse Jackson is defending him. Where's Johnny Cochran? Kwasi Mfume? Al Sharpton? I except all of these to throw a fit. It's being made a question of race, which is ridiculous. There was no reason to grant the man clemency. The fact that Jamie Foxx supported him almost swayed me to the path of redemption, but then I remembered he was a gangbanger who killed people and stuff like that.

I too am sick at how issues stray from the facts and turn to a matter of race. What on earth is there to defend? I think the Governator got it right.

It's not like we're talking about the guy that organized the Boy Scouts. This guy helped put together an organization based on criminal behavior. I hardly think he's innocent. In one way or another, he's responsible for a lot of horrible crimes. That's a fact based on evidence, not the color of his skin.

I think it's funny that all of the black people(including the NAACP) are defending this guy like some sort of hero. My psychology teacher(black) brought up this point in class today. The man started a gang that killed over 50,000 black people, including innocent women and children in the midst of gang wars. Think of all of those crying black mothers, and now they're defending him and saying "Free Tookie"? An interesting fact, no racist or anti-black interest group has caused as much death to them since the gang was founded as these gang wars where they're killing each other. And they want to defend this guy?
