Nutrition and supplements on off days?

    Hey all -

I currently lift monday, tuesday, thursday, and friday. On my workout days I eat between 1 and 1.5 grams of protein per pound of my body weight and drink a creatine/glutamine shake before and after my workouts. My questions are:

    A) Do i need to eat as much on my off days? I have a light appetite and I have to force myself to eat that much.

    B) Should I keep taking my creatine and glutamine on my off days, why or why not?

    Thanks in advance.

Might want to read up on glutamine.

Yes and yes. Remember you grow outside of the gym. Your body is building when your resting, not while you tear it down lifting. So if you don't provide it with the tools it needs to construct new muscle, then you won't get any.
