    Grandaddy of them all?

Recently i did a workout that went like WBB

    Mon: Chest and Back
    Tues: Legs
    Wed: Shoulders/ Traps
    Thur: Arms

the "experts" say doing a 3 day workout with all compounds is the best for muscle gain
So the new one is something like

    Monday:

    Squat 5x5
    Bench 5x5
    Barbell Row 5x5

    Wedesday
    Squat 4x5
    Incline or Military 4x5
    Deadlift 4x5

    Friday:
    Squat 4x5 And 1x3 <- ramping up weight by 2.5 %
    Bench 4x5 And 1x3 <- ramping up weight by 2.5 %
    Barbell Row 4x5 And 1x3 <- ramping up weight by 2.5 %

Once you ramp up the weight next week you should be able to do a set of 5 with that weight. Would this mean great mass gains with a good diet and plenty of rest? Would This routine help my arms grow too? I'm looking to bulk up for 10 weeks then cut so i can look something like this guy

    LOL

    Thanks

I think this is Madcow's 5x5. Very similar to what I do. I think it's a great workout! Though, I believe, this is a good strength workout rather than hypertrophy (though the stronger you get you will get a bit bigger).

Though I do 1x5 rows on day 1 and 1x5 benches and squats on day 3. And I also do an accessory each day (tri's, bi's calves, etc.)
