I cant wake up, i cant stay awake, i fall asleep during anything...(tanning, watching t.v, Lunch breaks, etc)
What can i consume food wise to help?

Caffeine pills?

I have more or less the same problem. I'll sleep for about 7-8 hours at night and then get home from class at 1, eat and then go back to sleep until supper time.
I think my problem is that I need to get a longer sleep at night. After nights where I get 10 hours of sleep I'm usually good to go for the day without having to take a nap. Try it out if you can. There's no need to take caffeine pills on a daily basis. Save them for exam time if you're in school. On days where I have 5:30 exams I don't know how I would stay awake without a couple red bulls, so on certain occasions you might wanna try that out too.
i have the same problem and the length of sleep doesnt matter. Ill sleep 14 hours and be tired all day or Ill sleep 6-8 and still be tired. And then when I want to wake up, I open my eyes and try to move but Im so tired and my body aches that I cant bring my self to get out of my comfy bed... i just go back to sleep. Luckily, I dont have any class before 2 each day![]()

Buy a really loud alarm clock or buy an alarm clock that can play CDs and put in a hardcore heavy metal album. Then place the alarm clock all the way across your room so you'll have to get up to turn off the annoying sound blasting in your room. That's for the waking up part. Of course...that can get really annoying after a while.
"The only easy day was yesterday."
I'm useless for getting up in the morning without a woman in my bed to poke me to get up after the first whack of the snooze button.
Placing the alarm clock out of reach does work - grudgingly - but in my case if I don't get to it within 5 or 6 seconds the baby in the apartment above mine starts to bawl. That's just not cool so I keep it within growl and whack distance.

Stop thinking and go lift - Paul Stagg
Ok, this is going to sound like a really stupid suggestion but I've done it myself before and it does work. Drink a fairly large amount of water/milk before bed time and go to sleep. When your alarm goes off, you'll wake up feeling just as crap as usual, and start to fall asleep again, EXCEPT, you'll really need a piss, which will prevent you from going to sleep again and make you get up! Mind you, I never get up in the night to piss. If you do, that would probably reduce the effect...
On reading your post again though, it sounds like there's a possibility you're a narcoleptic.

I think you should address the root of the problem before trying stimulants.
Squats work better than supplements.
"You know, if I thought like that, I'd never put more than one plate on the bar for anything, I'd never use bands or chains, I'd never squat to parallel or below, and I'd never let out the slightest grunt when I lift. At some point in your lifting career (assuming you're planning on getting reasonably strong and big), you're going to have to accept that most people think you are some kind of freak." -Sensei

I have the same problem, I could sleep for 2 or 12 hours and I will still wake up tired as hell. Try taking Gaba (Gamma-Amino butyric Acid) or Melatonin. If your body is stressed it doesn't produce the levels of these it should. Gaba is an amino acid that acts as a neurotransmitter. It helps you relax and sleep. It also helps prevent fat gains and increase muscle growth. Melatonin helps regulate sleep and wake cycles. Neither of them are that expensive (Melatonin- $8 at GNC, Gaba was like $13 online) so they are worth trying.
Here is a good site on Gaba, http://www.bodybuildingforyou.com/su...on-effects.htm
Oh, and a cool thing about Gaba is it makes 2 hours of sleep feel like 8.
I agree, but an EC stack can work wonders in the AMOriginally Posted by Paul Stagg

The piss thing doesn't work. When I wake up really early and take a piss I feel like the fact I got out of bed was enough to earn more sleep, and then I get back into my bed feeling good about myself for having to work for my sleep. Haha... yeah it's kinda weird but true.
And make sleep disorders even worse.Originally Posted by rp41

This was going to be almost exactly what I would have suggested.Originally Posted by sCaRz*Of*PaiN
Also, anytime I have to get up because of someone (ie phone call or someone at the door), it's a whole lot easier to get up and stay up.
Not sure about how to feel less tired, but I agree with Paul that stimulants are not the way to go.
It's been said already, but the absolute last thing you want to consider an EC stack for is to alter your sleeping pattern.Originally Posted by rp41

oh alarm clocks wake me up, even my watch alarm..but the drive to work or school i may as well be asleep, class or work coffee breaks = sleep.....lunch = eat and sleep....... lol, watch tv= sleep.......... i'm just not awake in the day.
Drowsy.
It's something called willpower. What motivates you to lift when you do? I know when I am done lifting for the day I am sore and really tired, yet I do that day in and day out. You will, therefore you do. I use to be the same way. I would suggest just pushing yourself every morning to get out of bed and eventually you will develop a routine to just get out of bed quickly.

agree. Stimulants might mask the problem and make you act like you have chemical imbalances.Originally Posted by Paul Stagg
