Oats in the moring or post workout

I am under the impression that oats in the morning is a good thing, as your body is in catabolic state. So right now for breakfast I eat; about 120 cals worth of oats (20g of carbs), 2 cups of 1% milk, and 1 serving of Whey. I could eat the oats post workout if that is a better idea.

I would personally avoid milk right when I wake up to allow the whey to absorb faster into the body. The oatmeal sounds fine though

If milk is really bad then I'll take it out, but I really can't stand whey without milk.

Milk is not bad in the slightest. But if your dieting then you may want to have fibrous carbs take up those cals.

True, check out my fitday, I am currently cutting and I still drink 6 cups of milk a day. I absolutely need milk. Not because I like it, but because I just don't have any other food that gives me as much calories.

A lot of people like to have oats in the AM. I'm not one of 'em - they'd just make me hungry. I stick to my eggs for breakfast. But if you're comfortable with what you're eating in the AM, and your cut is well-managed, go for it.

I have oats in my shake pre and post-workout, whether it's an AM or PM session. I also have one serving of dextrose.

Me too. I have two cups of milk w/ my 2c of oats(raw) and 8-egg whites 1 whole. I have to use milk in my oats, that's the easiest way to add cals. w/ out actually adding volume. I'm at 4400-4500 cals e/day i was at 41-4200 before. After this I don't know what I'm gunna do. And I'm only at 170lbs.
