    olive oil for weight gain? how

    K i dont get this, is it a joke? someone was telling me about taking olive oil to gain some pounds.. WTF, llol

    Olive oil is a healthy fat, which is very calorie dense. Give it a try.

    You've been told roughly ~31 times but you still don't seem to get it. I'll spell it out one last time:

    For the record, 'light tasting' olive oil is much easier to drink than the regular stuff and it has the same ammount of calories.

    ya i love the taste of it, i put 3 shots in my weight gainer and protein shake today each... and i'll likely have another shot later..... 7oz today .. not bad :P

    I should start a blog or thread or something to track my weight gain while consuming 4-8oz of olive oil on top of 4350 cals per day :P

    dosnt the oil curdle in the milk?

    olive oil = good lots of calories

    i take a shot of olive oil and then eat 4 scoops or ice-cream. is that a bit unhealthy? hahaha

    never had a shoot of olive oil before, usually have it in my salad. ok i'll give it a try, if i throw up i'll hate you all LOL

    that was not bad at all. had a shot of 43ml (about 1.5oz) - fitday give me 341 calories

    I use instant oats with a little dextrose twice a day but read that steel cuts oats are better. How do you prepare it, do you just blend it raw together with all the rest of the ingredient? Thanks!

    If I use a 1/2 cup or more oatmeal I use a coffee grinder for the oatmeal and then a stickblender. Otherwise I just use the stick blender.

    I just stir it in really fast into my shakes last, mixes well..and if the shot hits your stomach too fast just take a couple table spoon fulls instead.

    Ya my olive oil is 125cals per 15ml..... 1 shot is one ounce which is 30ml..so every shot is 250cals.... times 8 = 2000calories alone......

    so i was eating 4350cals a day trying to bulk...some olive oil is going to put me up 6350 a day and i'm adding an extra weight gain shake per day so i'll be at almost 7500cals.

    If i dont gain, then i would really like to know why.

    Yesterday i ate 8230cals on fitday

    Can somebody explain to me what you mean by taking shots of olive oil? Does it mean shots as in tequila shots?? lol

    Yes. I mean I guess you could use lemon and salt if you wanted too, or you could chase it with water/protein shake. Also that would be an awsome pic.
