I hit 185 Bench at schol after running a 1.5 mile...
I then hit a 275 deadliftthat was a few hours later at the gym.
I'm sure that 1.5 mile had me worn out but 185 Lbs and runing a 1.5 mile is good for me![]()
Congrats on the new PR's! I'd be in the nurses office getting oxygen after a 1.5 mile run. There's no way I'd be in the weight room. Guess I'd better work on my conditioning.
Best way to cheat on deadlifts...
Stand there for a few minutes, then pace back and forth a lot, huff and puff, wait until everybody's looking. Approach the bar. Back off. Approach it again. Back off. Get some water. Chalk up. Approach the bar again. Then spray some more chalk around. Wait until people start losing interest. When nobody's looking, pick it a little off the floor, and slam it down. Jump up and yell "LIGHT WEIGHT BABY". Then give high fives all around. - Belial

Coach reqs for the team is 2 mile run in under 20 mins... He says if you can't do that your not on... So I have to run. And yea I think its a respectable lift. On the 29th i'm maxing out. I'm know i'll hit at least 200.

you are training for a 2 mile in 20 minutes run??? for that distance 20 minutes should be plenty for a football player, and anyone else with decent cardiovascular health for that matter.
edit just saw you were playing american football... but ill stand by the original comment and say a football play could as well.
