    Smaller knuckle?

I recently injured my finger pretty bad had it x-rayed not broken just sprained bad. I can finally bend it all the way with very little pain but when I sleep it hurts in the morning again and won't bend all the way down without pain. I have also noticed that my knuckle looks a lot smaller than the one on my other hand. I'm pretty sure it used to be a lot bigger could it still be swollen or did the injury break it down? It's been 3 and a half weeks now since I injured it.

wrap it in a heat pad during the night to keep the blood flow going.

And the whole, smaller, bigger thing..... Who cares, there's nothing you can probably do about it if it's even really true and not just worried perception.
