    Answers to all Newbie questions

    1. Gain 50 pounds (props to Anthony for this one)

    2. Deadlift, squat and bench press. Throw in a press and row,

    3. There is no such thing as "toning" when it comes to muscle.

    4. Work your lower body as much (or more) as your upper body

    5. Eat more.

I think this (in one way or another) covers about 99% of newbie questions.

I think if all the experts here realized that when people ask how to "tone up" they are generally asking how to look fit aka get lean aka look good. most people using the word tone don't mean to change the shape of their muscles.

    N00bie DON'TS

    On this site:

    1) Don't ask a creatine question--they've all been answered already.

    2) Don't ask about NO-Xplode (or any other NO products); asked and answered.

    3) Don't ask a question w/out using the SEARCH function first. At least read all the posts on the first page of the forum you're in. Your question9s) may be answered right there on that very page.

    In the gym:

    1) Don't curl in the squat rack.

    2) Don't not rerack the weights.

    3) Don't try to flirt with every piece of ass in the gym.

    4) Don't forget to wipe down your equipment when you're done.

    5) Don't curl in the squat rack!

    Newbie question:

What if it's my "curl day" and someone else is using the squat rack?

Huh, then what do I do?

Gain 50 pounds. Then when you ask them to move, they probably will.

    Shoot yourself in the face.
Best way to cheat on deadlifts...

Stand there for a few minutes, then pace back and forth a lot, huff and puff, wait until everybody's looking. Approach the bar. Back off. Approach it again. Back off. Get some water. Chalk up. Approach the bar again. Then spray some more chalk around. Wait until people start losing interest. When nobody's looking, pick it a little off the floor, and slam it down. Jump up and yell "LIGHT WEIGHT BABY". Then give high fives all around. - Belial

Hahahha that made me laugh so hard. lol oh man that amoung other creatine questions are hilarious.

I was at my girlfriends house yesterday with a bunch of family over and her sister was talking about her friend thats on this "cree-a-tin" stuff, and said its so stupid to go on it because its basically a steriod and it will **** you up! "Idiots!"
Im sitting there basically shaking because of how narrow minded she is, but this relationship is new...So I sat there in silence staring at the wall thinking about when were about to get fed keeping my mind off how badly I wanna tell her how much creatine she is about to consume from the meat shes about to eat.
Staying in silence...did I make the right decision?
Is this what you would have done in my position?

    6. You can't spot reduce!

    7. You can't work different parts of the same muscle (i.e. "upper" and "lower" chest)!
