The gameplay doesnt really sound like anything new, but the graphics are amazing.
It's easier to point out the differences between us than to admit the similarities.
This body holding me, reminds me of my own mortality.

I saw the trailer a while back and the game looks insane, I heard you can even ridethe dragons in Project Offset.

The game has an engine designed for itself, which is always a plus. Oblivion didnt go over very well for me, so hopefully this is better.

seems pretty cool they had another FPS MMORPG that came out a while ago it was pretty awsome to. Doesnt look as good as this one but it definetly had some good graphics. I'm confused though is this a solo game or an MMO?

I know exactly what an MMO is, and becuase of that is why I question the idea of a FPS being MMO.
Most, if not ALL, MMO's are RPG. The idea of MMO is that you kinda need other people to fully enjoy the game, whereas with FPS more often then not theirs an offline single player mode and when online you can drift around the servers at your will depending on no one but yourself to frag it up.
So I dunno... I cant picture games like CSS or Quake in a WoW/Everquest environment.

If you all took the time to read the website, there is a single player and a multiplayer option. I do not think it will be MMO.

1,200 video, i've seen one of those, and they run games poorly becuase they are meant to redner high end 3D graphics which even games dont' have. A geforce 7800 (about 250-300) could run this game at MAX SETTINGS WITH GREAT FPS. I'm sure a geforce 6800 could run it too (about 150 bucks) near max settings. And i'm most diffenertly sure that a the new G8 series which Ibelieve will support DX10 will be able to run this game extermely well as well. One thing I do know is my PCs, and the gaming industry is no where near what those 250 buck graphics cards are truly capable of at this moment.
Video games have not truly made true use of SLI GPUs, and dual core processors as of yet. This game may be one of the first to do this. As well as this game is going to be made possible by DX10 which will make use of the pixel shaders on most higher end GPUs.
I could run it on a geforce 6600 GT. So could you thats about a 125 buck GPU.
And poeple say XBOX 360 graphics were nice PC will always be ahead of console.

Im sorry, but your 100% wrong. Try to get any kidna decent framerates out of oblivion with anything less then a 7900GT or X1900XT ( I get half decent ones out of my X1800XT 512). A 6800 GT doesnt cut it for much of anything these days, and a 6600GT will have you owning it up in say solitare. Originally Posted by Nik00117

Newer games are pushing both cards and CPU's to the limit, and this game wont be out anytime soon so dont count on it being very playable on a 6800GT.
DX10, and the cards that support it are as far off as vista possible further.
Of course, if you only play games that are 2-4 years old, then your right.

Damn I wish I hadn't tried to overclock that card. I broke it in three days lol. But I couldn't even run guild wars at maxed settings with smooth frame rates. I am assuming you'd have to do a crapload of tweaking. Originally Posted by Nik00117

Nah, you shouldnt have to do too much with a 6600GT to play GW. Unless you need to play at 16x12 and need the settings maxed. Personally with a card that could do that on nearly every game out, I play at 1024x768.
