    Daddy gets deflated

    soooooooooooooo...
been working out changed my routine...and am feeling most fine..
weight is down to 172.5 walked into the gym and pulled off 8 pull ups like nobody's bidness eventually wound up doing 40 over all, overhead presses with the most weight I've ever used-making progress and feeling great..lots of protein etc...

I'm walking down the street to do my Postal drop and a breathless young 25 year old smiles at me and follows me into the Post office, I'm given a dreamy look and phone number plus e mail..Not bad for me being 43 next week..

Out last night and my butt gets pinched in a nightclub....squeals of delight ...

Also avoiding someone at the gym who keeps trying to ask me out...

So Today we pick up the sister in Law and Nieces to go to the Out door pool.. Daddy comes out in his Speedo feeling on top of the world and sister in law[whom I like] says :"Are you still going to the Gym?You look like you've gotten fat.....

[sigh] maybe I needed it but I feel so freakin deflated.....

if im guessing shes prob just messing with you, giving you ****, yeah it can hurt but hey you have to judge the reactions of other people i say your doing great if your 43 and pulling 25 year old ass

    plus...

unless your about to walk across a bodybuilding platform and pose for judges, its never acceptable to wear a speedo, its not 1985 anymore...lol

but keep it up man, most men your age arent working out, there over stressed, and have low T-levels

im 21 and hope and pray ill still be going strong at that age, i definetly want to

keep it up man, i think she was joking with you

    or maybe your just bulking...lol

I'm with BigCorey, I hope I'm still setting PR's and going strong in the gym in my 40's. Blow off all the negativity you can, there is just not enough time in a day to analyze and breakdown things that other people say.

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys..
I actually thought it was more funny than anything....
and both of you you can trust me on this-Life gets better after 35,I feel younger now at 43[next week] than I EVER did in my twenties...

and as for the 25 year old.. well I was flattered same as when my butt was pinched, but my self esteem ain't based on people flirting with me...I got more goin on than that.....[strangely enough I'm almost bald, shave my head and am barely 5 foot 9- and 43.. yet I get more offers now than I ever did in twenties...????Gotta be banging the Iron]

oh and for the record my Niece[god Daughter] said" I don't think your Fat Tio, I think your big and Strong..

Word. I've gotten the 'you've worked out for a year? Why don't you have a six-pack?' thing. Uh... because I don't feel like weighing 140 maybe?
