    Combo lifts

Are combo lifts better than isolated exercises?

I've never once heard of a "combo" lift.

I was assuming you ment compound.

    Care to enlighten us?

Combo lifts are free-weight exercises that combine two lifts: you finish one exercise and move into a second without resting.

I think I confused it with compound too. I heard compound are better for beginners whereas combo's are for the more advanced.

Combo lifts, as you described, are commonly known as supersets.

Compound lifts involve multiple joints and muscles, and are beneficial to everyone.
