I have a lump on the bottom of my balls and it is kinda bothering me i've had it before then it went away now its back again it kinda looks like a big pimple under the skin Any ideas?
but its not a pimple?
Is it an infected hair follicle?
If there's any question at all go to the doc. You don't mess around when your "boys" are at stake.
i dont have insurance is ther anywhere online i can ask some questions like if it was an infected hair follicle why would it go away and come back in the same place a month later?

EDIT: I don't think testicular cancer goes away and then comes back, which leads me to believe you're just being paranoid...see if that self-test in the link I posted helps though.

I assume its a cyst in your skin, unless your telling us its a lump on your testes. Is the lump mobile independant from your nuts??
I don't know if you're talking about something under your skin, as twisted dendrite pointed out, or something that is independent of it. In other words, is the lump on your testicles or your scrotum? If it's on your testicles you need to see a doc right away, it could be testicular cancer, although you could have just felt up your epididymis. It's the duct that carries sperm to the penis. This lies along the top and back of the testicle and normally feels bumpy. You'll feel it on each testicle in the same area. If this isn't what you're feeling and is not part of your skin then you have bigger issues. Run, don't walk, to your doctor!
In all likelihood it's an ingrown hair, but you can't be too safe when it comes to your boys.

At my physical last week my doctor told me that I should be checking for lumps on the front part of my testes. He said lumps in other areas of the testes are normal.
I have a horror story about a guy who popped his and got it infected...right after he got married. I'm betting there's something he wasn't doing on his wedding night. He actually had to get hospitalized.

That guy must have had some real dirty balls to get an infection from popping a zit.
I had testicular cancer 10 years ago, don't screw around. I did, and now righty is gone. Sigh.
i tried to pop it when i first found it and it just got all bruised
maybe its just an ulcer...
I hightly doubt its a ulcer.....since those are in your stomach, the word you are looking for is hernia. It sounds like its probably a ingrown hair on your sac more then anything though. Id still get it checked out or something of the sort though. I know personally I dont want anything on my sac that shoudent be....well unless its a girl using her tongue![]()
My sig scared getfit.
Ya-huh, and that's why about 80% of the population thinks 'Oh ****... I have cancer' because the stupid assed health leaflets etc say 'any' bumps check them with doctor. And people get all scared and worried, end up tormenting themselves for months and eventually go and find it is normal. (Have heard the story about 5 times from mates lol).At my physical last week my doctor told me that I should be checking for lumps on the front part of my testes. He said lumps in other areas of the testes are normal.

Not true. Testicular cancer can arise from any portion of the teste.Originally Posted by stevec087

Very true. Ulcerations can arise from a number of things, including herpes. Hopefully that's not the source for the OP.Originally Posted by UnknownSoldier

Agreed, however, I believe what SteveC and Reala were referring to was that folks often confuse their epididymus for a cancerous growth and the epididymus is on the back of the testes.Originally Posted by razorcut

Very true. It is a mistake that can be made. You gotta know what you're caressing.
