    BB Curl

ok so i've been doing barbell curls. I don't think the weight is too heavy i'm only doing 95. for 3 sets of 5. but after my first set i'm getting a great pain in my forearm bone whatever thats called and a little bit in my wrist too. It feels like the bone is going to snap. I don't understand why the pain is coming. 95 pounds is by no means a lot of weight so can somebody help me out. thanks

Where are you doing BB curls? That could be the issue. If you are doing them in the squat rack then it is just god telling you to move your ass out of it so people can use it for what it is meant for.

I would get the same pain. It is from doing barbell curls. Use dumbbells instead. The barbell puts a lot of stress on your forearm tendon because it does not allow it to rotate or move. When I switched to just doing them with dumbbells, it went away.

no theres a platform we have at my gym. nobody really uses it. its basically just a stand that you can take a barbell and use it from a starting position in the air rather than the floor or off of the bench rack. i normally use it for BB shrugs and bb curls. yea but anyways thats for the useless information lol. except gains. yea im thinking about that but i already know that i don't have problems doing any other type of curls. i wanted to continue bb curls because I knew they hit the biceps in a certain way that can't really be matched doing regular ezcurl bar curls. but whatever. guess i'll just have to switch it up

That used to happen to me a lot. I worked through it and eventually they went away. Try switching to barbels or using the ez curl bar so that your wrists aren't turned out so much.

You will hit your biceps just fine using db's or an ezcurl bar.
