    Postworkout calories

    How much calories do you guys take in in your postworkout shakes?

    I plan on taking 2.5 scoops of whey protein and 100g dextrose...but thats only about 550 calories! So, i guess i dont understand how some people eat like shakes with 1000 to 1500 calories after working out. DO they just take in more sugar or what?

    Those shakes are mostly weight gainers, that contain 1000 calories in a couple scoops of powder.

    I take in around 500 calories post workout.

    don't focus on the amount of calories you're getting from one meal, rather, focus on your daily caloric intake.
