    Starting to lift again

I am just now starting to lift again after almost a year. Ive lifted most of my life and done cardio as well. I want to start lifting and doing cardio, and my goal is to cut some fat as well as gain lean muscle. What is the best way to approach this goal? Thanks.

Start with the basic lifts like barbell squats, military press, dead lifts, and the bench press. As for cardio running, or jogging. These exercises will help you the most in the beginning. Make sure you have good form, when performing them. I think a good start to any exercise is 4 sets of 10 reps each. Goodluck

Dont be fooled by doing lots of cardio. Doing alot of cardio will burn off muscle that you obviousley want to keep.
