    Tito vs Shamrock 3

This coming Oct. 10th will be the third fight between Tito and Shamrock. I cant find anything on it from the ufc site, but here is the bulletin Tito posted on myspace:

UFC asked me to do a favor for all my fans and i did it. The last fight with Ken Shamcock ended in 1:18 in the first round. I was very happy that I stopped Ken that quick, but everyone else wasn't. So you are going to see it again!!! I could have waited until febuary to get my world shot at the world title but I wanted to make all of my fans happy. So I am taking a chance to fight him again for all of my fans. Let the punishment begin October 10th on Spike TV. I will shut him up once and for all!

I searched google and found this:

Anyways, I'm not really too excited about it. It is starting to get old seeing the same fighters fight again and again. What do you guys think?

Where is the best place to check out Pride? I started watching UFC starting with #1, but I agree that it is devolving into a soap opera.

It's funny how people always argue ufc VS pride ... there are awesome fighters and matches in both leagues. Is Ken VS Tito 3 one of those awesome matches? Probably not, but so what. Not every fight in pride is a blockbuster either.

This isn't helping Tito's career. Has he just given up going for a title for a payday?

Shamrock was amazing in his day, but i think he's been punched too many times in the head.. And i don't mean that in a sarcastic way at all.

    Frank Shamrock > Ken Shamrock

    True story.

Watch the vid on YouTube.. He DESTROYS Tito.

I don't think UFC is devolving THAT bad. At least the fighting is REAL unlike the WWE and their nonsense!

I read from another forum that UFC and Pride might be having a showdown in Vegas. and that Pride has signed Mike Tyson to fight for them lol. I really don't care for Mike but I'd like to see Fedor and Waly Silva clean up the house!

I don't think ufc is bad at all. Like Anthony said, there are good fighters in both leagues. Anyways Mike Tyson would be bad@$$ in the cage with proper mma training imo. Though if we see any blood around the ear area, we will know what happened lol.

I wouldn't mind seeing Tito beat Shamrock down again. Ken Shamrock's big problem isn't his age, it's that he's a stupid fighter. He's got heart and strength, but he lets his emotions get the best of him to easily. It was funny as hell watching him get baited so easily by Tito on Ultimate Fighter.

I'd love to see Frank Shamrock come out of retirement. He was a damn good fighter.

the ufc vs pride arguement has been done thousands of times. both have good fighters. both have differnt rules and ufc has a reality show. i personally prefer pride over ufc but unfortunatly i dont get pride on tv so im stuck with ufc. im stoked for chuck vs silva. i only hope he gets through babalou this weekend.

UFC is resorting to way to many rematches due to lack of depth in some weight classes. They hold the best welterweight and middleweight in the world. They have a lot of welterweight depth, but thats about it. The 2 divisions have very different rules, so it's tough to really argue about what is best. I think the 2 orgs will be forced to merge if they want to survive.

Well this fight makes complete sense.

Both fighters probably felt robbed after this match.

Ken feels that the ref stopped it too early. Tito feels the ref didn't allow him to pound the living **** out of Ken enough, to have a final and decisive end to this chapter in his career.

So Ken wants this to happen, Tito probably doesn't care, but doesn't want the fans to feel cheated or have any doubt. And the fans want to see a decisive ending.

So not sure what you guys want. UFC are doing a good job I feel, in catering to the fans.

Just so long as Ken doesn't pull off some fluke knockout shot victory. Lol, that would really **** things up. Best of 7 anyone?

They just announced it live on Spike for free. Good move by the UFC to make it up to the fans that paid for the 2nd fight.

Agreed. I think interest in this fight is fairly low. I'd like to see Ken at least hold his own this time, but I think Tito is just a higher echelon fighter than he is right now.
