I'm attending U of M (University of Minn. - T.C.) in about a week, and was hoping to begin MMA. After searching around it seems like these were my best two options.

http://www.warriorscove.com/
Do either of those look worth-while, or should I keep shopping around for something else?
i would say go in to each and sit and watch a class. and you can go try out most gyms for free. choose the gym that focuses on technique and control. that is how i choose my gym to train at.
I'd choose the MMA combat zone. The head instructor as well as some of the assistant instructors have their blackbelts in BJJ from Pedro Sauer, who is a very respected BJJ player.
Fuck, fight, or hold the light.
Did you ever end up checking out either place?
I plan on checking out http://www.mmaacombatzone.com/ saturday. I'll report back.

Face it: biceps are the muscle that classifies you as a muscle man.
HilarityStriding across the fields, carrying a vorpal blade, cometh Clawhammer! And he gives a bloodthirsty bellow:
"As sure as predators devour prey, I shall paint the town a sanguine shade of doom!!!"
I'm still settling into college right now, approaching the end of my first week. I'll be checking them out within in the next 10 days or so...
