    Knee bruise from empty bar

Well, I finally did it. I failed at a 20 kg snatch today.

I actually got to the bottom of the overhead squat position, but the weight just went way behind my shoulders. I lost control and due to my inexperience (and the proximity of a leg press machine) I held onto the bar and drove the bar down forward. In the process, I bumped an area above my right knee.

I'm pretty sure it'll bruise tomorrow. Is this something to be overly concerned about, or should I just give it rest?

Ice it and watch it for now. I doubt it's anything serious.
    I know you're half-crazy, but I wish you'd go all the way.
