    Nutrtional Value of Chicken

Other than absurd amounts of cheap protein, is there any nutrional value to chicken?

I never hear anybody talk about chicken like they talk about tuna or beef.

    I purchased six of these:
    Kirkland Premium Chunk Chicken Breast 360c 3f 0c 78p
for $10 at costco. What a steal!

I love chicken marinated in Frank's, w/ minced garlic, and hiney mustard.

If you're talking about nutritional value as in vitamins and minerals... not really.

If I ate chicken for every single meal, every day for a week, would that cause fat loss but keep the muscle I have intact since I am taking in such large amounts of protien? Or should find out my LMB and calculate a calorie deficit?

I've got some chicken breasts marinating in my fridge in some BBQ sauce for tonight on the grill. Love the stuff. Malkore is right of course.

IMO the best thing about chicken is I can eat it daily. Sometimes if I forget to buy beef or fish I will eat it twice in the same day.

    God bless George Foreman.

Im in the George Foreman boat, but dont overdo it, because it sucks when you eat too much chicken and stop to like it. It is hard for me to choke it down now after eating it daily for months.

Seven years later I'm not sick of it.

Well, its not like an all-inclusive statement, there are always exceptions.

i get sick of it if i'm eating it alone daily

however, add steak and some mixed cheese and wrap that in a whole wheat wrap.. and you have burrito goodness

how do you get sick of chicken? chicken breast is bland and it's pretty difficult to get sick of bland food as opposed to food with a distinct taste like tuna and beef.

I ate it in sandwiches every day for a long time. Im not sick of all chicken, just the stuff I make in my George Forman. Its really dry, and I always put like one or two large chicken breasts on a smaller sandwich, so it is alot of chicken. But like I said, the dryness got to me.

Does soaking chicken in olive oil make it more juicy, or would it? Because then a chicken breast would be perfect: zero carbs, but high in monounsaturated fat and protein.

If it is dry, you are overcooking it. If you're cooking in dry heat (ex: baking, grilling, even frying) then you should use a high temperature for a short period of time. If you're cooking in a wet heat (ex: poaching), then you should use a low temperature for a long period of time

You could try also frying it in oil to get your fat, or putting mayo on the sandwhich.
