    Measuring Food

    Hi all,

I just bought a small digital weight scale, so that I may track my protein intake. When it comes to measuring meats, do I measure them before or after cooking?

Usually doesn't matter because fitday offers both but if you do it while cooked some of the tasty juices of the meat might fall off

Before cooking is usually the easiest way. That way you can remove some if its too much, but it's tough to say "no" when it's already cooked!
