Felt pretty shitty today. Weight is down to 198. Gonna start adding in 50 - 75 grams carbs post workout; I'm just getting too flat/depleted and it's starting to affect my performance. I'd like to be around 205 fully carbed before my meet.

Loving that 3x9 of 225 for speed bench. That's a strong set for speed. Like the mili's as well... I think you could afford those carbs bro. The way you bust ass I can't see them being too detrimental to you.

You have the numbers of a fatass in ply. That is the most impressive thing imo. I bet if most of the pros cut 10% of there fat and tossed out the gear, they couldn't hang with you in the weight room.
You're a bitch with the militaries. The progress week to week you have is huge. Especially since you're already above body weight.

Lol. Thanks man.
I have nothing against guys that use gear, I have a couple friends that compete in multi-ply, but I'm not going to lie, it is annoying watching guys at meets hit 700 pound squats and 500 pound benches thinking they're strong as shit, when I know I absolutely destroy them raw.

Light day today, giving my back some rest. I know Dimel Deads are usually higher reps; I was just kinda playing around getting a feel for it with heavier weight. I do really like them and plan on throwing them in much more often, really hits the parts of my posterior chain that are lacking the most. I still feel like my hams are lagging a lot and if I can bring them up my squat and dead should really take off.

A 700lbs squat (raw, single or multi ply) is still strong. Two different games boys.
Fuck, fight, or hold the light.
This. Can't compare the two. A 700 pound squatter in multi ply with a 450-500 pound raw squat might not have your strength getting out of the hole, but his lockout power is likely tremendous. It's a different sort of lifting- can't just toss on the gear and magically add on 200 pounds.

I agree, to a certain extent. There's definitely technique involved, and like you said Alex, most guys aren't going to jump into a suit for the first time and hit huge numbers. Given a few months to get used to it, however, and things are different.
I'm not trying to offend anybody, I have all the respect in the world for somebody with 800 pounds on their back or 600 pounds over their chest, it's just not my thing.

Pretty epic today. Wasn't really planning on real heavy singles but 385 was so fucking fast I just couldn't resist. Absolutely no pain. I'll prolly go for an all out max attempt a week or two before my meet, I'll make sure to get it on video when I do.

I checked out the APF Raw records this morning. 198 Bench was around 440. I am definitely gunning for that. 198 Total record was like 1630. I wouldn't be surprised if somebody has already broken that and they just haven't updated their records. If not, I'm pretty confident I could already break that record if I had a meet this week. 198 dead was 705 so that's out of reach for now, and squat was right around 600.

Do any other fed's go around your area?
Some are pretty delayed at updating but RPS (the one i compete in mostly) is pretty quick. It really does suck when you set a record one meet and 2 weeks later its broken by 5 pounds lol.
2000 or bust
Yeah there's other feds but I don't feel like paying for more than 1 membership when I only compete a few times a year, and I have to lift in something that is untested obviously.
