    Maintenance Calculation

i did a program before and it used a number multyplied by your body weight to ascertain your maintenance calories. Does anyone know this number?? it worked for me last time but i cant seem to find the old program. or remember. Any help on this would be awsome

Don't use those equations because they are very inaccurate. Find it by trial and error. If you haven't be chnaging you're bodyweight recently, then eat for a few days without changing your habits. Track everything you eat and average it out for those days. This will give you a MUCH better idea then some equation designed to meet the population average.

I think he needs a starting point on how much to eat. I say multiply your bodyweight by 15 and experiment wtih that. If you gain weight, drop it down. If you lose weight, then add weight.

It might take you 2-4 weeks to figure out your maintence cals.

Bodyweight x 15 is a bulk for me.

For someone with a fast metabolism is could be maintenance.
