    Well???

    What goals do you have?

What PRs are you going to break?

I'm going to do 50 pullups in 4 sets.

    I'm going to shrug 275 for 6

I'm going to hold 275 for 30 seconds, using only chalk.

I'm going to work harder than YOU!

No personal records set today, but I did add 15lbs to my squat, 10lbs to my sldl, and 45lbs to my calf raise.

I shrugged 245 for 8 last week ... no gloves, no straps, no chalk. I concur with Buff ...

Today I will change a few channels and shiver in terror at the thought of shrugging 275. My twig arms would fall off.

    work harder than me !!!!

    I got legs tonight...

I took too much time off at Christmas (3 weeks from dieting and training, yeah got kinda carried away), but for the last 2 weeks I have been eating well and training hard..

I am finally back to where I was..

I am going for a personal best in squat..

    Last week I squatted 230 for 6

This week I am going for 242 for the same.. I feel I can do it.. Either that or I am gonna go for 10 reps at 230 see how I feel....

Gonna hopefully bust my leg press and sld records too by4 reps or another 2.5-5 kg for the same amount fo reps...

    let ya know tommorow !

    My short term goals are:

    incline bench: 315x4

    straight-bar curl: 195x6

    french press: 225x5

    super-slow squat: 365x5 (5 sec down, 10sec up)

hammer strength row (seated): 5 45lb plates and a 25 per side for 6 reps

I train very hard in the gym. I hope you all reach your goals.

I want to know what you are doing TODAY to get closer to your goals.

I want to know what your goals are for today's workout (or diet, whatever)

    I forgot some:

    I will eat 2650 calories
I will eat at least 300g of protein
I will drink at least 1 gal H2O
I will spend 15 minutes today stretching to improve my flexibility (did it this morning)
I will spend 20 minutes today doing cardio

Somewhere, in a gym, there is someone working harder than you are.

Are you gonna let that happen?

    Ok, today I want to
    Squat 315x7..

Leg press 6 plates per side without feeling like my knees will buckle..

SLDL 275 and not drop the bar because of the weight..

Oh yeah, and not go near the scale for another 3 weeks, so the next time I do, I'm above 200!!

my goal for today is to work harder than anyone else in the gym. i want to be so tired after my set of deadlifts that i have to fall down after my first set and then do 2 more. i want to work my muscles so hard that they will be in aganoy for the next 3 days. i want everyone in the gym to see how hard i am working and say "wow thats a crazy fuker". and then i want to go home and fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow.

"I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord!"

Well this went kinda medioka for me...

    I actually made a mistake I squatted 100 K for 6 last week and not 102.5 K....

I still threw on 105 K like I said I was going to and got 4 reps, not my 6 I was hoping for but still a definite improvement from last week. An extra 10 lb's but 2 reps less...

Got a pb on leg press 230 KG's (not including the weight of the machine, how much does this weight generally on a 45 degree leg press ?), I got 4 more reps on leg curls and 2 more on sld's...

Calves were about the same, but are going up next week for sure

Got shoulders and arms tonight... I am all psyched up for a pb on dumbell press

I was supposed to get up for cardio this morning, but I needed the sleep more, so I slept an extra hour instead. I have night class right after work tonight for three hours, so I guess I'll just have to take the day off. I have legs to do tomorrow. Yipee

I'll drink 3 gallons of water today.

I'll eat 2 lbs of red meat.

I'll pay more attention to the numbers on the tape measure, and less to the ones the on the bar or the scale.

Mmmm, red meat. I love steak. I usually eat about 3-4 servings a week.

If any of you haven't discovered roast beef yet, go get some. I was never a big fan of roast beef, but I got a couple pounds of healthy choice lean roast beef a few days ago and I can't stay out of it. It's tasty, and it's easy - no preparation, just open the fridge, grab 5 slices and stuff them in your mouth, chew, and repeat. Well, if you're like me chewing is more of an option that a necessity. I eat fast.
