    French Press = Skullcrusher?

In the WBB program 1 one of the exercises is a french press. I looked on both exrx.net and bodybuilding.com for the exercise explanation and video and I could not find it. After googling french press I found a video on some site and it looked almost exactly, or exactly like a skull crusher?
Are they the same?? Just two different names?

That is funny how they are the same exercise...but totally different names.

French press makes it sound pretty...and then there's SKULLCRUSHER!:evillaugh

Thanks for the clarification...maybe one name was the first, then the other name is a newer one.
    I don't know.
    But thanks for the answer!

    They aren't the same.

French Press: Sitting, back upright, hands above head extended

Skull Crushers: Lying on back, arms perpendicular to torso extended.

    Movement remains.

I prefer skull crushers since French press puts a lot of strain on my delts.

That's weird, the video I saw of the french press was laying down.

I believe you more than that site though.

    Thanks for the clarification.
