I was wondering if it would be o.k. to do 1 day of powerlifting in my routine for example a regular workout Tues.Thurs.Sat and the 4 power lifts on sunday.
An another thought i had in mind was regular weightlifting from October to May and the PowerLifting from June to Sept.????
Any guidance would be really aprreciated

powerlifting is weightlifting.... I dont get the question.... Either you do a bodybuilding workout and train for hypertrophy or you do a powerlifting workout and train for strength. You cant ask us which would be bettter, it totally depends on your goals.

Not to nitpick, but .....
Powerlifting = squat, bench press, deadlift
Weightlifting = clean & jerk, snatch
Weight lifting = lifting a weight
Even if things were as cut and dry as you describe (they aren't), size and strength aren't the only options available ...![]()

LOL... Oh anthony! hahaha...
I stand corrected, I meant that powerlifters lift weights just like weightlifters do. I dont understand what it is he is asking because he just asked which would be best for him, I saw nothing about what his goals are or why/what he is training for. Thats why I said, powerlifting is weight lifting (minus the space of course) because in powerlifting- you lift weights.
As for the strength vs. Size thing, those are just the things we hear most about on this website and so I *Generally* assume (yes I know assumptions are B-A-D) that if someone is training for something else then they would mention that.
Thanks for the english lesson
BTW- isnt "Olympic Lifting" the snatch, clean + jerk? Or is it also called "weightlifting"? Whenever I hear ppl talk about those excersizes it is with regards to the former and not the latter.

hahaha, I told you I was nitpicking! Weightlifting is also referred to as Olympic Weightlifting or Olympic Lifting.
