I might do a few foofoo exercises every now and then but I will primarily just be benchin and deadliftin![]()
1. 120 x 10
2. 120 x 10
3. 170 x 10
4. 170 x 10
5. 220 x 10 ..... PR
6. 220 x 5.5 ..... 14 second negative
7. 170 x 6 ..... reverse grip
8. 170 x 6 ..... close grip
Time = 24 minutes
Woke up early and got this in before work. Man I hope the FDA never bans ephedrine. First time I ever did reverse grip bench, felt really strange. I have no idea what the purpose is either but I think I'll do them again. It certainly breaks up the monotony. When I record half a rep it means a negative, hopefully a long one.
Bring back the curls man!!! Geez!!!!
PS well if you're trying to get good at the powerlifts then at least add in a squat workout too. Korte's 3 x 3 program is a good choice.. though my opinion be merely my own, I think you are doing a grave disservice by not incorporating the curls
Oh I'm sure there's gonna be some curls sometime soon. My guns need a good flogging.
1. 120 x 10
2. 120 x 10
3. 170 x 10
4. 170 x 10
5. 220 x 2 ..... reverse grip
6. 220 x 7 ..... grip was failing
7. 170 x 8
8. chins x 14 ..... PR
Time = 28 minutes
Messed up my knees deadlifting Tuesday which is why I did the Romanian deads.
I've heard of romanian deads but how exactly are they performed?

Bodyweight - 213
Bodyfat - 24%
Max Bench - 275

Bodyweight - 221
Bodyfat - 22%
Max Bench - 300
Side effects were minimal and tolerable (sluggishness and irritability). What amazes me most is that although my diet remained absolutely horrible, I actually lost bodyfat.
Tomorrow I'm gonna start taking the remainder of the Tribex-500 I have left over from last year. It should last about a week and will most likely do nothing.
I posted another pic on my homepage.

We tend to think of Sisyphus as a tragic hero, condemned by the gods to shoulder his rock sweatily up the mountain, and again up the mountain, forever. The truth is that Sisyphus is in love with the rock. He cherishes every roughness and every ounce of it. He talks to it, sings to it. It has become the mysterious Other. He even dreams of it as he sleepwalks upward. Life is unimaginable without it, looming always above him like a huge gray moon. He doesn’t realize that at any moment he is permitted to step aside, let the rock hurtle to the bottom, and go home.

Great job you old bastard! You truly are an inspiration and the change in your physique has been great. In another year post your before & after pics at Elite when you're benching 350-375 and your bodyfat is 12% and make em' eat crow. Tighten up your diet and add some squats and you'll be all set.

300 was a lot easier this time around. Today I didn't drink any Mountain Dew, I only smoked one cigarette, and I even ate some oatmeal for breakfast.

I had fully intended to do zercher squats until I got about halfway through my first set. I have no muscle in my lower back. I am weak. Someday I will be a strong mofo.
Zerchers are sweet! They work your gunz a bit too![]()

Just out of curiosity, are you using your 1-Test yet?
And I can empathize with you on the being weak thing. It sucks.
