    Bad news and good news

Bad news: sick as ****, lost 10lbs and am down to 350 even, was told I looked like death warmed over.

Good news: hit a rediculously easy 700 on bench today at a Cardinal Fitness (****ty bar, bending like crazy, rubber plates filled the length of the bar = no room for side spots to grab bar). First time in a long time I have hit a double bodyweight bench, lol (especially while sick).

I video myself training if I train with a friend who has a camera, which happens less often now that I am out of college.

The overhead work thing is a debated topic in the powerlifting world. Some people think it will cause overtraining of the delts when combined with all of the pressing work done for bench while others do quite well with it.

    Great work Nick!

I do heavy overhead work on my lighter bench day, seems to be working well for me! It makes your shoulders stronger and also adds some extra heavy (indirect) tricep work into the mix.

    Dude... wtf, are you human?

700 raw, I cant even comprehend that.

my goal is 500 by age 20... but **** ever breaking the world record, your close, please video it when you do!
Being a strong teenager means nothing.

My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.

Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.

thats awsome, its hard to hit your weight on the bench when feeling like crap, hopefully you make the record fall fast.
keep at it, its just around the corner.

Hell yeah! Nick Winters, fellow WBB member, and best bencher of all time! That would be awesome man. You are so close, probably only weeks or months away from an all-time record.

Gotta feel sorry for Mendleson, he has to fight on the raw AND equipped battle front.

Good luck to both you beasts!
