    WBB In 50 Years' Time

What do you all think is going to happen to this community (and the internet, for that matter) over the next little while? Will we be typing messages in our minds while seeing the 'screen' in a pair of VR goggles while walking down the street? Will you still be on WBB when you're 10, 20, 30 or 60 years older?

I also find the fact that a lot of the people on here only know each other because of this site quite interesting, especially if they've never physically met, and/or are separated by oceans.

    Discuss.

I'll probably still be on here for a long time. I think that many people actually do care about my progress and are interested in how I progress as a person. I've found a few people close to me on here and I"m sure they let me I'd go visit and workout with them.

LOL, oh man thats hilarious. Zoolander flashbacks.

Oh and I'm sure I'll be here for awhile. I've learned basically everything about training from this site so hopefully in a few years I'll be able to give back what I've gotten out of WBB.

^ Yeah right I'm gonna be like 70 and finally *on* steroids. You guys will still be hearing about my stupid drug stories. Hey maybe by then I'll be able to talk with experience about heroin... I mean since when you're really old it's not like damage from addiction is much of a factor anymore.

I'd like to give back to this community eventually if I strike it rich.

That's another good point. I've thought a few times when I've been travelling, or walking down the street, about whether I've seen someone from this site. Like, I may have seen Built or Maki on a bus or in a shop or something, and not have known.

"I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord!"

I would have left WBB a long time ago.

But I would be part cyborg and I would be busy curling with my biotic arm.

In 50 years, I doubt this site will still be around. In fact, TEH INTERNETZ as we know it will probably be dead thanks to government regulation, mergers, and good ol' capitalism. Even if it is still here, there will probably be new ways invented in which to interact in chatrooms and special interest forums, so I'm sure WBB will have evolved into something completely unrecognizable compared to what it is now.

I can see this site becoming exactly like BB.com

    and it saddens me.

In the next few years this site will detioriorate with guys posting theiur massive curling routines.

Im here to stay for now, but in a few years, i will move on to a less known forum with more real people.
Being a strong teenager means nothing.

My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.

Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.

It's been in existence for quite a few years, and the focus has been pretty much the same since it started.

You gotta get over curling, man. It's an exercise. People do it. Stop hating.

I dont hate curling itself, I hate a certain group of people that I associate with it.

I guess WBB will las for a longer time, the community here is incredible. I really dont want it to turn sour.

    I also hate said group.

They have been a huge influence on my flat workout yesterday.

Really made me mad. I've never heard people talk so much in my life.
