Hey bro, sorry haven't been in for a bit. Sorry you missed that 385 on the dead on Sunday. I think you're still doing things the right way though. A very patient man you are. The thing that helped my deadlift more than anything was PL style squatting. Low-bar, wide stance, heavier weights (3-5 reps). Sounds to me like you're a little psyched out by the weight too. If that's true, then try 380 next time or something around that number. If you nail that, bump it 10-15 lbs and go again.
Cool deal about the photos and comments around the way that your coach mentioned to you. Nothing motivates quite like that eh? I'm tellin ya, by the time you're my age, you're gonna be one jacked dude. It's probably hard for you to realize yet, but you are not finished growing and filling out yet. You're gonna get wider and thicker whether you lift or not at your age. So you will have what you've been looking for no doubt very soon in your life, jed.

k - no problem man. interesting bout the sumo squats... i wish i could do those effectively. theyve always aggrovated my hips. i think after a few weeks of discipline 5x5 or whatever then ill try for another. im getting too crazy attempting PR's. eh, i do realize that if i keep this up i'll be pretty decent size by 25 or so. its just my self esteem i guess. i started as a little peice of crap and not a naturally big muscly dude, so ive never really had the cocky ego that some people that dont work for what they are blessed with have.
boys lost their last game tonight. they were going into 3rd round of district playoffs and were up 25-10 at half, and lost it 46-45 in the last ten seconds. it sucked to watch our guys lose, especially because the refereeing was horrible. last second they called a foul on the OPPOSITION, we got to the line to shoot and then they called a ref conference and TURNED THE F**KING FOUL AROUND on us. so we lost our chance to tie and lost the game. was total BS. we painted bodies and faces, and i painted like darth maul, ill let you guys see. it was act ually pretty cool. great season to our guys though, they ended up 19-4 or so.

Dude your back looks insane! Shoulders definitely need some work, but i'm sure they will fill in over the next few months as you gain weight. Looking solid man.
I agree with Detard about the shoulder... I will narrow it down a little more and say rear delts. You look really solid though man. Once I get my pics up, we can kind of contrast and compare and see what we each need to work on... Do you do much ab work?

I agree with painzer, but I think that you need to do more laterals and plate raises to bring out your middle delts. Try 1 arm DB laterals. Grab a dumbell, go up to the power rack, and put your feet about 4 inches away from the base, and hold on with your arm not holding the dumbell. Let yourself hang at about a 70 degree angle, and do your laterals like that. It worked really well for me.

painzer - the props really are appreciated man, as is the critique. ive always though my lateral/side delts were the absolute worst, followed by rear and then front. get those pics up and ill be glad to compare/constrast bro. and no, i do probably a 3x10 of full GHR crunches a week. why?

good workout today. squats were ace, and shoulders toast!
squat : 195x20... this ended up being as hard if not easier than last weeks 190. excited.
BB power press!!! : 135x5, 145x5, 155x5... haha have felt so uncomfortable trying this for so long, but finally manned up. felt pretty fun.
BB military press : 135 3x5... this was tough after those power press'
lying rear delt raise : 15 3x10
DB standing arnies : 45 3x10, these were murder!
shoulders were annhililated at the end of the workout.
