Hey guys I'm bored and can't get my mind off of bodybuilding so I came up with a plan to lower my bf while maximizing muscle gains.
I started a cut 4 months ago at 195lbs and 30% bf
Start
Weight............195lbs
Amount of fat...58.5lbs
BF%................30%
On march 8 I was 175lbs and I'm sure all 20lbs lost were fat (as my weights never went down)
March 8, 2007
Weight............175lbs
Amount of fat...38.5lbs
BF%................22%
Now I plan on bulking up to 200lbs and I'm gonna assume that 10lbs gained is fat and the other 10 is muscle.
Jul-07
Weight............200lbs
Amount of fat...48.5lbs
BF%................24%
At this point I'll probably continue to put on another 20 lbs (again 10lbs fat, 10lbs muscle)
Nov-07
Weight............220lbs
Amount of fat...58.5lbs
BF%................27%
Then cut down to 200lbs (slow cut, no muscle loss)
Mar-08
Weight............200lbs
Amount of fat...38.5lbs
BF%...............19%
Then back up to 220 (10lbs muscle, 10lbs fat)
Jul-08
Weight............220lbs
Amount of fat...48.5lbs
BF%................22%
Then finally back down to 200lbs (all fat loss).
Nov-08
Weight............200lbs
Amount of fat...28.5lbs
BF%...............14%
Does this sound like a pretty solid plan? As well I'm considering this a worst case scenario as I'm assuming every lb of muscle gained is accommodated by a lb of muscle (haven't bulked before so I'm not sure if this is the case for my body)
thats a pretty detailed plan i would plan on this not going exactly as you have planed it out
Way down this road, in a gym far away, a young man was once heard to say, "I've repped high and I've repped low, No matter what I do my legs won't grow."
He tried leg extensions, leg curls, and leg presses, too. Trying to cheat these sissy workouts he'd do. From the corner of the gym where the big men train, Through a cloud of chalk and the midst of pain.
Where the big iron rides high and threatens lives, Where the noise is made with big forty fives. A deep voice bellowed as he wrapped his knees, A very big man with legs like trees.
Laughing as he snatched another plate from the stack, Chalking his hands and monstrous back, Said "Boy stop lying and don't say you've forgotten, Trouble with you is you ain't been SQUATTIN"
Yeah I'm using it more as a guideline to keep me on track. In fact this plan is worst case scenario, cause you never know I might gain 15lbs muscle in one month (according to AtLarge) or a constant lb a week with no fat at all.
