I know I stunk up the place as a kid. You know you stink when your sneakers need to be put outside and such.
Well as I got older that funk seemed to have left. I’m wondering if it’s the protein drinks or what that is bring my funk back. My feet and under arms seem to have a new improved stank.
Is it just me stinking the place up or does anyone else finding that they don’t smell like roses all the time now that they’re working out?

ur just sweating more, when i play soccer or anyhting that makes me weat a whole lot after i eat ****ty or have a rough drinking night i smell a little worse just use more deo or switch kinds! and the shes just need to be washed more, once u wash them once it seems like u gotta wash them more often to keep the funk away.
I know this will sound really stupid, but make sure you are washing those stanky areas... You'd be surprised how many guys don't actually use their hands to wash the soles of their feet, inbetween toes, etc. I guess they just think splashing their feet in the soapy water will suffice...
As far as shoes go. Wear socks - always. If I ever wear shoes without, I can pretty much plan on those shoes never smelling right again. I only go sockless w. shoes that are designed for that - in other words, sandals.
When do you usually bathe/shower? In the morning, at night, both?
A child does not learn to squat from the top down. In other words, he does not suddenly make a conscious decision one day to squat. Actually, he is squatting one day and make the conscious decision to stand. Squatting precedes standing in the developmental sequence. This is the way a child's brain learns to use the body as the child develops movement patterns. Therefore, a child is probably crawling, rocks back into a squatting position with the back completely relaxed and the hips completely flexed, and stands when he has enough hip strength. This approach makes a lot of sense and can be applied to relearning the deep squat movement if it is lost. -Gray Cook

Which reminds me of a silly joke I heard recently. I beg your pardon if anyone finds it a bit offensive.
Q: Why did Lance Armstrong finally retire instead of competing in just one more tour De France?
A: French race officials inspected his motel room and discovered three substances that are banned in France: Soap, Deodorant, and Toothpaste.

To funny. Glad I’m not only one stinking.
Being clean is not my issue nor is sweating more. I sweat now like I have always, LOTS! 10 minutes into any heart pumping times makes me a puddle. But I didn’t have this funk for the last 20 years. This is something new. I have several pairs of sneakers so it’s not even from wearing and sweating in the same things. I’m also a very big bow hunter and eliminating any odors is a big time must. I have many products that wipe out all odors made from bacteria and such.
It got worse last night. I started drinking Creatine. The container states you need to have it 5 times a day for 2 days to start then once a day after a workout. I don’t have the time or space in me to drink the protein and Creatine at the same time. So I mixed them together and chugged. Tropical punch Creatine and Chocolate Protein mix. I now have something to put next to the definition of NASTY in the dictionary. Not to mention I had to jump out of my moving vehicle when I let one go. It was so bad it burned my eyes.

Creatine and protein have never done anything to me as far as body odor goes.
I guess if nothing we've said applies to you, then you just stink...

I am in the same boat. I used to wear whatever shoes were closest to work out and then they all started to stink. Now I have dedicated workout shoes. The only other thing I've noticed is stinky farts...b/c of the high protein I guess?
