I say get back in even if you don't want to - a few days of that and it'll be habit once again.

Go on a non-lifting extreme bulk until you hit 250 or for a year, whichever comes first. My guess is that you'll be motivated again after that.
A child does not learn to squat from the top down. In other words, he does not suddenly make a conscious decision one day to squat. Actually, he is squatting one day and make the conscious decision to stand. Squatting precedes standing in the developmental sequence. This is the way a child's brain learns to use the body as the child develops movement patterns. Therefore, a child is probably crawling, rocks back into a squatting position with the back completely relaxed and the hips completely flexed, and stands when he has enough hip strength. This approach makes a lot of sense and can be applied to relearning the deep squat movement if it is lost. -Gray Cook

I agree. I've been lifting weights consistently for two years now. I've had 2 surgeries during that time and never once did I ever want to stop lifting. I can barely tolerate taking a break from lifting every now and then, it drives me nuts.

You gotta love this stuff to be a bodybuilder or atleast to make any kind of gains at all. If you don't then you should find something else to occupy your time.

Don't overanalyze anything. Just go freaking work out. If you let something as lame as your wisdom teeth being pulled demotivate you...well...no screw that. Just shut up and lift.

I'd kill to have a workout partner this enthusiastic or atleast as much as I am.

If you don't want to lift then don't do it. You will be back at it as soon as you realize how bad you look after a few weeks of being lethargic.

I had a pretty bad knee injury and did'nt work out for almost 2 months. I just started back. Find something like Noxplode or some kind of good supplement to get you back in the game. Good luck my friend.

Good...Good...go home...quit...stop wasting oxygen for everyone else in the weight room. Your very prescence should be motivation enough...no one here has any time for that ****. If you have read the words in the articles and on this forum...and you still need a kick in the ass...then you dont have what it takes son. Maybe its better this way...stop now before you get hurt or something. Maybe you should go to the park and play frisbee or some ****...walk your dog. I am besieged at every moment with questions from people all over the world about how to gain size or get stronger...so you see I am less than impressed with your little situation. I wish I was there right now to smack the **** out of you...or drag your ass up and down the weight room until you learned what motivation is. Now get off this board and make room for some real mother****ers...if this hurts your feelings your a bitch...if it makes you mad...you have hope.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears looms but the horror of the shade And yet the menace of the years finds, and shall find, me unafraid. I took 5 months off, lost 20+ lbs of muscle and gained 35+ lbs of fat.

I finally got motivated when I couldnt stand to look at myself anymore. If you dont want to lift, don't. My advise, shut the **** up and get your ass motivated so you don't look like I did.

I've been at it now for over 2 months and am about 1/2 way to where I was before.

Lol.I draw the line there. I'd rather **** on the sidewalk. Sadly Chuck Norris would still take a bare assed dump on my head.

Machine said it best. So no need to retype it.
