Have any of you tried the Garmin Forerunner (105, 205, 305, etc), any of the Polar products, or the Nike+ stuff?
The Garmin is a GPS that tracks how far you run, gives your heart rate, pace, time, etc and keeps really nice graphs of it all.
The other two basically do the same thing, but track by calculating stride length.
Have any of you guys bought/used any of these products? Are they accurate? Are they useful for sprints/interval training? Any recommendations?
Good if you are an elite level athlete.
Good if you are an excel spreadsheet/stats geek.
Otherwise not worth the money.
Personally I love stats/am pretty anal about keeping track of stuff so I wouldn't mind buying one.
I get like 30% off all Garmin products.. Let me know and I can hook you up.
