I know what you mean. I graduated in May and I think 3 out of 30 people in my senior seminar class had jobs lined up. Thankfully I had a hook up, so I was one of them, but I'm still going to pursue my Masters starting in January.
Keep up the good work, and working with prisoners would definitely be interesting.
with my degree I got a very good paying job.. but the problem is that if I actually wanted to do the work I want to do I need at least a masters, more likely a phd. that being said the ecconomy is still half decent where I live.. if I had my degree in LA id be working at starbucks.

Not bad session, not too much volume on the deadlifts now that I look at it. I pulled 515 at Westside with the same setup using a deadlift bar back in the summer, this was just a regular power bar so that was good.
Gonna keep at it with the upper/mid back work and glute work. I'd really like to crack 600 in March.
2 weeks and I start to GFH

So I'm getting really thin, haha. My belt on the last notch is now loose and can be. The positive side is this is the lowest bodyfat percentage I've been at yet, and that was the goal for this weight loss thing. Next Monday I start to gain it back, but clean weight.
It's starting to affect my PR's and stuff like that, but its expected. Not a huge impact, but noticeable. Not really getting to me but I can't wait to be strong again LOL
Been hammering my pecs with dumbbell pressing twice a week for at least a year, so I'm going to switch it out on my max effort day for close grips for reps to try and increase my arm size and strength. There's not a huge discrepancy in my full range bench and 3 board bench, and that's not good. Means my pecs are strong but I need to work my lockout hard
I really appreciate the help in G-Burg at Record Breakers, I know it was one long day.
PM
Purple band pressdowns - 200 reps
Shoulder raises with ankle weights - 100 reps
Spider walk with mini bands, 3 sets
Good own you Lones for training with broken toes!!

I'm Canadian![]()
our dollar is worth about the same as US dollar (99 cents USD = $1 cnd approx right now). Minimum wage here is about $9.. basic labour/construction jobs are $18-25 an hour and then after that it really depends I guess. Id say most people out of University with a 4 year degree make at least $30 an hour. I live in a place that still has quite a few jobs though.. the economy in Canada isn't great, but its not all that bad compared to many places today.

Hmm thanks for that, we make slighty more here I think.
I left school at 16 and have no real qualifications and get 30 an hour.
I know Aus was the least hit by the GFC.
Best of luck to everyone cause minimum wage would be hard.
