    Bill Starr's 5x5 and day availability

    How important is the structure of

    Monday
    Off
    Wednesday
    Off
    Friday
    Off
    Off

    for Bill Starr's 5x5? Can the routine still be done if your availability is, for example,

    Available
    Available
    Off
    Available
    Available
    Off
    Off

    ?
    Would working out 2 days in a row spell disaster for this routine because you are squatting every workout? Do you think I should avoid this routine if I can't consistently free up the monday/wednesday/friday structure for working out?

    I think it would be a problem personally. I would do something different.

    I don't personally do mon-wed-fri and i do the bill starr but I just do it when it seems like I have recovered, but If i had to do bill starr two days in a row I probably wouldn't.
