    Blood Type Diet

I was wondering if any one could help me search for any medical research which shows that eating certain things are more reccomended for certain blood types. My sisters friend who's a personal trainer gave her some sheet of certain things to eat as a type-o blood type. It seems like another fad diet but if anyone could help me out if they know anything about it or have already found medical research about it because i don't feel like buying the book.
This is a link just discussing the idea a little bit

Peter D'Adamo wrote a book called Eat Right 4 Your Type, which is about a 'blood type diet.'

To be honest it all sounds pretty rediculous. Apparenlty nothing has really been proven yet, and is still under research. http://www.dadamo.com/ifhi/research.htm

I searched around for a few minutes and every source I found said that a blood type diet won't be bad for you, but it hasn't really been proven to actually do anything special either.

    It is.

When I was younger I tried it and other pseudoscientific diets. No kind of special restrictive diet has any kind of benefits, unless you have celiac disease, or you are lactose intolerant or something. There is no research on this guy's idea for a reason. You really can't do any better than a common-sense healthy diet.

I'm trying to figure out what relevance blood type has to your body's required nutrient intake.

    I guess probably ZERO.

It's all nonsense. Just another diet "guru" trying to find that unique avenue to make a quick buck.
    I know you're half-crazy, but I wish you'd go all the way.

It's just another fad diet with a faulty scientific basis.
