Just curious to see how many people do a 3 day split with
chest/back, legs, shoulders/arms
or
chest/tris, back/bis, legs/shoulders.
Or how many people don't work arms directly at all. Would like to hear preferences on either and why. Thanks!

I do legs, chest/tri/shoulders, back/bi. Not really much tri or bi specific work, though, as they get worked pretty hard on the compound movements I do as the main movements on those days.

If i am doing a split then i like to separate chest/back/legs.
Then ill add biceps to chest day, triceps to back day, and maybe do a set or 2 of shoulders on legs day.
If you want to only workout 3 days a week, maybe look into a full body routine 3x a week.
Push/Pull/Lower or Upper/Lower or Squat/RDL or SLDL/Bench/Row/Pullup/OH press and then adding different accessory work each workout.
There are many options.
I do chest/shoulders/triceps and legs/back/biceps
This is another brilliant routine:

Ya I do 4 sessions a week:
back/chest
legs/abs
arms/shoulders
plus I also have 1 session where I just do compound lifts - deads, squats, bench, chins, push presses. It's been working well so far.
EDIT: Oh and one day in the week I do a 20 min neck session at home. I've been suffering from the "lightbulb" effect for too long![]()

I do back/chest and posterior chain/quads. I do a fair bit for triceps on back/chest session, because they are weak point for me.
I like working in antagonist pairs. Hitting arms on a chest or back day seems like overkill.
Im with the fine lady.
When I was training on my own, on heavy push day I would have 4x5 bench SS with 3x8 BB rows in between, and vice versa on heavy pull days.
SLDL and frotn squats is good pairing for the lower body.
Being a strong teenager means nothing.
My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.
Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.
My 3 day split is usually
1. Chest/Rotator Cuff/Biceps
2. Back/Shoulders/Hands/Wrists
3. Legs/Triceps
Triceps do a lot of work with the chest and biceps do a lot of work wit the back, hence why I have them on different days.
cardio/plyometrics
chest/upper back/calves/abs
legs/lower back
shoulders/arms/abs
Naw, chest and bis or back and tris are okay. I was trying to save time - not always such a good plan lol. I was thinking I wouldn't want to do tris or bis on a day when I did chest and back, which I pretty much always train together.
i do chest/bis, quads/hams/calves, back/abs, and shoulders/tris
