    Protein shake, with a twist!

This is a shake for those that wish to get the good nutritional benefits of real whole foods and not a multivitamin. You'll get antioxidants, fiber, protein, carbs from good foods, and some healthy fats. Here's what I've been doing lately:

    5 strawberries
    1/2 cup raspberries
    1/2 cup blueberries
1 scoop whey protein (chocolate, but this isn't essential becuase other products cover up the taste)
    3 tbspn flaxseed
    1/8 cup black walnuts
    4 ice cubes
    1 cup 1% milk

Since this is expensive I use it not to meet protein needs, rather overall nutrition. You can make a few 8 oz servings of this. Something like 4 or 5.

Has Omega 3's, fiber, some protein, and it's not that expensive.

Thanks, a lot. I thought it was pretty good. It has a lot of good nutrients/vitamins in it. It has protein, carbs, good fats, fiber, etc. I don't think you could ask for something better.

    Perhaps.

But fish oil would taste utterly gross in a shake like this.
