    Ugh.. Screw BBing

I've been going with higher reps (8-10) recently, going for more muscle definition. I've been doing this for over a month.

While I'll admit I think I look a little better in the mirror, it's not THAT much better, if at all. And on top of that, I don't get to lift really heavy weights every week.

I never realized that it's not really weightlifting that I enjoy, but it's lifting heavy things. Honestly, I don't see how some people can do this. It's just no fun to me.

I enjoyed so much loading double or triple my body weight on the bar for a few reps rather than 40-50 pounds over my bodyweight for 8 reps.

Screw this bodybuilding thing. Powerlifting is just so much more fun. This upcoming week shall be my return to powerlifting. THE SQUAT RACK BECKONS ME!

Weightlifting sucks. I just like to lift heavy things.

    Powerlifting FTW.

PS- 8-10 rep sets are not for muscle definition.

Everything's debatable around here, and I'm not in the mood.

Point is I want to lift heavy things.

    High reps for definition?

    Um no. LOL!

Definition is diet with heavy lifting in low rep ranges. High reps on a cut just chew through mass. I pretty much turn into a powerlifter when I cut.

Same here, I donno wtf your talking about but its actually good to lift in the lower rep ranges esp when trying to preserve LBM on a cut.

Eat to look good, lift to get strong, look at Heavybomber's journal. One of the most impressive physiques here on WBB and he lifts like a powerlifter and just eats smart.

Chris- I'm just curious if you want any advice, feedback or anything from this topic? If not, I might as well get rid of this because it isn't going in a good direction for anyone. Perhaps start a new thread with your goals and new training plan.
