Is it ok to not use that much leg like Chris did in the video? I heard it is best to squat down like in ATF mode at the bottom of the movement?

I would much rather prefer to do it this way because it feels more natural to me, but I don't know...

    It's a DL, not a reverse squat.

I like your 505 conventional deadlift. That is what I want to do someday at Bally Fitness just to show all them what I can lift. I like how you nod your head after you lift it too. When I did 405, I didn't nod my head, but almost cried haha.

Thanks everyone. It felt great to pull that. My speed/strength off the floor has always been my strongpoint. My lockout has gotten a lot better, but I still could improve on it.

Superman- make sure to drop it from the top like I did. I'm sure Bally's would like that, lol.

My back is stronger than my legs. The way I am built, having a higher hip position puts me in a stronger position to pull. I am a powerlifter and use the technique that will enable me to lift the most weight.

You have to decide for yourself what hip position will work for you. Squatting up a conventional deadlift is not ideal for 99% of lifters.
