I tried ON's cookies and cream and it was ok, alot better in milk. Maybe if you threw a couple real oreos in there it would taste great?

Are you shopping for quality? For flavor? For macronutrients (fat/carbs/protien content)?

There is quite a variance between brands when it comes to protein powder.

The regular ON cookies and cream is meh, but the ON Nitrocore 24 cookies and cream was pretty good.

Unfortunately this may not be very easy, depending on how you define effective. If you are juding effectiveness based on macronutrient ratios then some of the better tasting powders (NitroCore, Syntha-6) are quite poor. Infinite Labs has a relatively good cookies and cream but all of these proteins are going to have a high price point and the flavoring systems are loved by some and hated by others.

You also have RTD options like Muscle Milk or Oh Yeah! shakes, but again these are expensive and have poor macronutrients.

Why do you drink protein shakes? Simply to supplement overall protein intake? For post-workout recovery?

I personally think EAS chocolate is the best tasting protein I've had. I just picked up a 6lb bag at costco for 27 bucks. Can't beat that price anywhere, and the excellent taste is a bonus

nice, i am gonna head up that way tomorrow for a bag or 2 I think muscle milk is by far the best tasting, best dissolving whey on the market. I've had the MuscleTech, ON, EAS, almost all of them and Muscle Milk is the bomb. Thier cookies n cream is good, but the straight chocholate is To DIE FOR

Is that the 3 blend mix?

My costco carried that for about a year now there back to the wellements brand ( also a mix ).

Oh its just straight whey. Its strange why each costco in different areas carries different protein blends, I guess its just regional.

Hows the EAS chocolate compare to Body Fortress chocolate as far as taste goes. I use to drink the EAS meal replacements and loved those. But I cant stand the Body Fortress chocolate (although I do like Body Fortress strawberry).

chocolate body fortress with 2% milk was pretty tastey to me, throw a banana in and your gold, their cookies and cream however tastes terrible.

I think cookies and cream whey is going to be a bit too sickly.

If your concerned with taste, you can't go wrong with Syntha-6 by BSN. They all taste Amazing. I'd still drink Nitrean over them though.

The Whey supplements taste better than you think. They have definitely come a long way.

I take back my previous statements about liking EAS. My first bag was delicious, this second bag I bought they must have re-made it. Now it requires two scoops instead of one for 26 grams of protein and it taste beyond disgusting. Moldy cake batter is a good way to describe it. I literally can not drink it anymore I drank one shake, threw it out and ordered a 10lb bag of ON

EAS Cookies and Cream was straight nasty. As a matter of fact, the mixture (with water or water) is dark gray, almost black and tastes like ****.
