Building a Monster Upper Back

A huge and thick upper back is the hallmark of the alpha strength athlete. Only those with the fortitude and will to train with the requisite intensity will achieve the kind of upper back that literally intimidates and inspires awe in all who see it.

If you truly want the biggest and strongest back possible, it is necessary to combine the best of both the powerlifting and bodybuilding worlds!

My numbers are going back up mostly because I concentrated on getting faster and beating myself up on my assistance.
The faster you are, the easier it is to lockout the weight.

Thanks CoCoa

Getting back to training tonight.

I did WPF worlds. went 661 and missed 705. won my open weight class
I was the only one who spoke english. It was cool to talk training with
the bulgarians, russians and germans. How they get through a training
cycle without getting hurt is beyond me. lol. The one russian guy said he trained
the bench 4 times a week!

I dont understand for the life of me why there is a submaster division?
anyone? I dont get it.

hey preist, i commented on plw? take a break then hit the gym. we would have to meet at 220. you were close to my 672 also.i know you lift 198. but 242 is in my near future i think. when ryan and i went against each other it was fun and now we talk every once in awhile. good luck with training.

I didnt know that was the number to hit. I asked what the record was and they said 628. But, I didnt ask what the highest number was. I guess I assumed it was the WR. That is why I went to 705 on my third. Well, now I know after the fact. I had about 4 people tell me afterwards. lol

I think we should do it. It would be fun and we could push each other. You know, We will have to find a meet and meet in the 220s even though i said I wouldnt do it again. I love the competition. I will send you a message with my number. We can find a venue for both of us to lift. How does that sound? I heard a story about the contest you and Ryan had. You will have to tell me if it is true. sounds like a funny story. lol
