All of the b.s. in this thread aside, think about it. If you could only use one supplement and your goal was size and or strength, you would want the supplement which would best promote those results. Protein powder is NOT it. All it does is support your diet with additional protein.

I have said this before, if I could only take one product it would be RESULTS (www.atlargenutrition.com). It is very effective at promoting size and strength and does not mess with one's endocrine system.

I agree with this statement. That is my real response as well.

I see this written often "Size and Strength". It it brings to mind a question that I have always feared to ask.

When stating size, what is really being stated? Lean muscle mass or Total body weight.

If I could exchange fat weight for lean muscle mass I would have a gain of 50 lbs of lean muscle mass. I have far more lard than is healthy. If I reduce calories for a slow fat weight loss would Results still help add "size" as in lean mass?

Lean mass of course. RESULTS helps to stimulate lean muscle mass.

Thanks Chris, I really need to lose some fat while keeping the muscle mass I have and if I can add some muscle mass while losing some fat, then it would be a wonderful thing. I am going to give "Results" a shot.

I'll jump in to say I think that when the product was being developed Chris gave it a trial run while cutting and it worked very very well for that purpose. I think that was what convinced ALN that it was such an effective product to release.

I’ve just joined the forum and one reason why I did was to tell how well ALN supplements have worked for me. This seemed like a good place to start.

I found WBB and ALN around March this year. Since about April I’ve tried Nitrean, ETS, Maximus and Results. I love Nitrean. I seem to keep a mild case of elbow tendonitis and while the ETS didn’t seem to help it, I did notice reduced DOMS. Just in the last month I used Results and Maximus to gain about 5lbs and add 25lbs to my bench while using WBB’s “Up Your Bench Press 30lbs in 30 days”. I did notice an improvement in my elbows and attribute it to the Microlactin in Maximus.

Having said that, if I had to choose just one it would have to be Results. I don’t know much about HMB, but I’ve experienced the gains in mass and strength from creatine. I also used to take a beta-alanine powder called Intrabolic, which was very good for strength gains. So having these two in one supplement is about the best I can imagine. And everyone, whether you’re trying to lose fat or put on muscle, has the goal of more lean mass and strength.

Are Vitamin/mineral a supplement? I thought they were a necessity of life.

Eating the right foods is more important than lifting weights. You need to eat foods that are high in proteins and good carbohydrates. Your body needs its proper does of vitamins and minerals in order for it to build muscle.

So your pick would be a multi-vitamin?

There are a couple of others who said multi-vitamins as well.

I have a hard time deciding between a good protein powder and a fat burner. I like protein powders because I am lazy and it is an easy way to get in some protein but I like fat burners because controlling my appetite on a cut without one is damn near impossible. I would probably say fat burner because I don't get near the same effect from coffee or other caffeine that I do from a fat burner and I can get my protein in elsewhere. As for Results, while I did see fantastic results while on it, the stuff cracked me out like crazy even when I would have it with a protein shake and I just didn't like the feeling.
