No Explode

I saw that a few people use this around here. Apparently it has no protein in it at all but its like supposed to make you feel like your superman or something. I was thinking about going to buy it. Anyone have any experience with it?

+1 Couldn't agree more.

This applies to any NO product. Go read the studies. You need 10x the dose of AAKG/NO precursors to get the effect of NO vasodilation since it is poorly bioavailable. And this is assuming IV. Orally, forget about it. The dose of AAKG neccessary would leave you on the ****ter with digestive side effects for days and would be a strain on your other bodyparts.

So if anyone wants to invest in some NO products, please send me your money. PM me and I'll give you my info. In return, I'll call you and psyche you up way more than the placebo effect from NO will. Then you can atleast say you invested your money in a personal trainer, rather than supporting fraudulent companies/claims.

PS I don't hate supplements (I use my fair share).. I just think NO is completely and utter garbage

Great post! I am not sure what it is, but every forum seems to have topics about NO products. Must be great marketing!

I've tried several NO products and the one that really does work for me is MRI Black Powder. I take it 45 min prior to going to the gym and can literally see the difference. It's not a placebo effect!

Yes, some NO Products "work" - as in they are vasodilators that will give you a better 'pump' while in the gym or they have caffeine and therefore will serve as a stimulant.

In terms of actually building any strength / muscle though, the products currently on the market are basically worthless.

Some poeple do like the pump while training and can make them feel as they are getting more from their workout which offers a placebo effect. The problem is that some of the ingredients are expensive and certain supplement companies have created outrageous hype around 'NO Boosters' which has given people the wrong impression. It is almost like what happened with HMB a few years ago; where a product that can be worthwhile in certain applications was grossly overmarketed.

nobody said NO products won't give you a pump.

nobody said the pump does anything beneficial either.

$4 a serving for a pump vs a free pump by lifting heavy iron

hmmmm....even a 'muscle bound idiot' can see the logic here

I don't think you understand what the term "placebo effect" means...

I tried it for a week, took it about 30 minutes prior to working out and never got anything from it. Just my experience, it appears that anything with a stupid name simply doesn't work.

If any product has the word "black" or "extreme" or ends in "drol" I know it's going to be crap.
